- Shutdown of operations and –malfunctions, reduction in operation:
Non-use of the ski pass due to poor weather conditions, avalanche danger, systems failure, closure of slopes, unexpected departures etc., are not valid claims for refunds or extensions. Using the ski slopes is done so at one’s own risk. A change in operating hours due to snow conditions is reserved.
- Reduced tickets: A photo ID is required without exceptions in order to purchase a reduced ticker, (Bambini, children, seniors and handicapped).
- Photo: a photograph is required for 7 day tickets and yearly passes.
- Key cards: Our card system is completely incorporated with non-contacting data carriers (key card), with a € 5, 00 deposit for each key card per ski pass. The deposit will be returned upon handing over the undamaged key card at all cashiers of the Kaunertaler Gletscherbahnen or tourist office, swimming pool, sporting goods store or hotel reception. All conveyor lift ticket verification is done electronically, as with the lifts in the skiing area. Single trips for non-skiers are issued magnetic tickets, and must be inserted into the appropriate scanning station.
- Ski pass inspections upon request, misuse, and extensions
Inspections are constantly carried out at random. The ski pass must be shown to the lift personnel upon request. The ski passes are individually issued and are non-transferable. Any misuse will result in immediate confiscation, and additionally punished with a double daily tariff. We reserve the right to penalize. We would like to point out that according to the Railway Legal Liability Law; only passengers with a valid ticket are protected by insurance. The subsequent transfer for another ski pass and the extension or postponement of the validity period is impossible.
- Mixed price: A mixed price will be calculated for ski passes which cross the seasonal intersection point.
- Refunds from skiing accidents: A refund for a skiing accident is only possible with at ski pass having at least two days left, and is not valid for any accompanying person. The refund is calculated from the time the ski pass has been handed in, and not on the day of the accident. A local physician’s certification is required to qualify for refunds.
- In case of loss: Ski passes valid up to 2 days will not be replaced. Ski passes having at least 3 days validity can be reimbursed upon presentation of the ski pass’ number blocking receipt of the (received when buying a ticket) for a processing fee of € 15,00 for the remaining time. The value of the lost key card will not be reimbursed.
- Subscription choice: e.g. 6 in 7 means that you can ski 6 out of 7 days. The last valid skiing day will be printed on the ski pass.
